HeartWorks offers a range of simulators for Transthoracic (TTE) and Transesophageal (TEE) echocardiography and is considered to be the most in-depth and realistic simulation of the heart available today.

There is a highly accurate and interactive 3D heart with every case, which can be rotated, sliced in any direction, or have any of the 135 intracardiac structures removed or highlighted. The integrated textbook provides further information for a fuller understanding of cardiac anatomy

Realistic TTE scanning

Using Eve, our ultra-realistic mannikin, trainees can learn how to acquire images using the key landmarks to find the image windows and compensate for obstructions, just like in real life.

The system includes the gold-standard imaging views for each of the twenty standard TTE imagining planes, meaning trainees can learn to acquire these views without the need for tutor supervision.

Realistic TEE scanning

Perform true-to-life TEE examinations using the TEE probe with controls for ante and retroflexion, lateral flexion and, omniplane rotation.

The system includes the gold-standard imaging views for each of the twenty-six standard TEE imagining planes, meaning trainees can learn to acquire these views without the need for tutor supervision.

Relate images to anatomy

For every case there is an anatomically accurate and fully interactive 3D heart, so users can fully explore and understand the anatomy, as it relates to the ultrasound images.

Doppler & M-mode functions

Just as on ultrasound machines HeartWorks has colour, pulsed wave and continuous wave Doppler available in all regions of all cases. As well as M-Mode, Biplane and, a measurements and calculations package with reporting functionality.
